Harvard BOLD leadership camp for female leaders

Dear Caddo Parish Magnet School,

My name is Katelyn Buehring, and I am writing to you on behalf of Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business (HUWIB) as the External Relations Director of this year’s Business Oriented Leadership Development Conference (BOLD).

HUWIB hosts its annual high school conference to educate and inspire young female leaders toward future careers in business. The robust two-day programming hosts a lineup of diverse speakers and many opportunities for attendees to cultivate a strong network of mentors and peers. Attendees will also engage in unique hands-on experiences, such as resume and college counseling workshops, hosted by experts in the field and current Harvard students. Last year, BOLD attendees heard from numerous panelists and participated in workshops. In its eighth year, BOLD will continue to welcome and empower the next generation of female leaders on the weekend of November 9-10th, 2024, on Harvard’s campus.

This year, we are continuing our BOLD Ambassador Program which selects a team of high school girls from across the country to work closely with the BOLD team and develop their leadership skills. We are excited to let you know that we invite your students to apply to our 2024 program!

Attached to this email is our BOLD 2024 Ambassador Guide, which details the responsibilities and expectations of the ambassador role. Similar to last year, ambassadors will be attending the conference in person. Our application is available both on our website and at this link, and it is due no later than Wednesday, May 1st, at 11:59 pm ET.

If you have any questions regarding the application, please feel free to reach out to me at kbuehring@college.harvard.edu. I look forward to reading your students’ applications!

Sincerely,

Katelyn Buehring

Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business

External Relations Director, BOLD 2024
