Step Forward is excited to announce that the Teen Advisory Committee (TAC) Recruitment Campaign is now live. TAC is a regional youth-led group appointed to help improve local policy decision-making and programming that impacts teens and young adults in North Louisiana. Membership in TAC offers teens opportunities to improve campus life. TAC members will participate in the democratic process, interact with city leaders, and impact important decisions. Please share with students that the online TAC application is accessible on the Community Foundation of North Louisiana’s website at http://www.cfnla.org/tac . Applicants must click the “Apply Now” button to apply. Applicants will need to create a new user account to begin the application process. TAC applications must be submitted online no later than December 15, 2022. All applicants must meet the eligibility requirements to be considered a TAC candidate. A TAC recruitment flyer is also attached for distribution on your school campus.
Listed below are the TAC eligibility requirements:
Have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
Attend a school in Caddo Parish.
At the time of application be between the ages of 14 to 18 or in the 9th thru 12 grades.
Submit a completed TAC application with two letters of recommendation and current transcript.
