The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is hosting a challenge that may be of interest to your students. “Pollution Prevention Works: A Storytelling Challenge for Students” is an opportunity for students to win up to $5,000 by telling pollution prevention (P2) stories. The Challenge is open to high school and college students. Students can submit videos, written stories, infographics, or StoryMaps that illustrate how businesses in EPA’s Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) P2 Search Tool are reducing toxic chemical releases through innovative pollution prevention practices and having a positive impact on the environment and communities. Entries are due February 17, 2023.
